Itinerary

Pickup from your Port Douglas accommodation at approx 7.20 am or 8.20 am

  • 7.20 am or 8.20 am: Pick-up from your Port Douglas accommodation.
  • Mossman Gorge National Park: Embark on a guided walk through the rainforest, accompanied by the soothing sounds of flowing water cascading over granite boulders.
  • Daintree River Wildlife Cruise: Relax and soak up the tranquility as you glide along the river, listening to the melodies of songbirds and keeping an eye out for the elusive Estuarine Crocodile.
  • Daintree River Cable Ferry Crossing: Traverse the river, marking your entrance into the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest.
  • Alexandra Lookout: Take in sweeping vistas stretching from the lush Daintree Rainforest to the glistening Coral Sea.
  • Morning Tea: Indulge in freshly baked muffins and biscuits accompanied by freshly brewed coffee or the renowned Daintree Tea.
  • Cape Tribulation Beach: Where the rainforest meets the reef (subject to works on roads severely damaged by ex-Tropical Cyclone Jasper in mid-December 2023).

  • Swim: Take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of Cooper Creek within the Daintree Rainforest. Note: Swimming availability may vary due to seasonal rains.
  • Optional: Sample local and exotic fruit ice cream at The Daintree Ice Cream Company, if time permits.
  • Return around 4.15 pm or 5.15 pm: Head back to Port Douglas, with memories of an unforgettable day immersed in the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest.

We are travelling to the rainforest to have lunch in a very private, secluded, and remote area. It is too late to advise on arrival that you have allergies or are vegan/ vegetarian. Please ensure you inform us when booking any dietary requirements.
