Let’s go, Cape Tribbin, with Uncle Brian! It’s time to head north to Daintree and Cape Tribulation, the heart of the Wet Tropics. So grab your hat, sunnies and some swimming gear and let’s hit the road.
Journey through the ancient Daintree Rainforest, the worldâs oldest living rainforest, where lush greenery meets the shimmering waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Drive along the breathtaking Great Barrier Reef Drive, where rainforest-covered mountains meet the Coral Sea, and visit the picturesque town of Port Douglas, famous for its endless 4 Mile Beach.
Wildlife Encounters & Crocodile Cruise
No visit to Cape Tribulation is complete without a crocodile-spotting cruise! Glide along the Daintree River, safely observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, with expert guides pointing out the hidden wildlife.

Itinerary
Great Barrier Reef Experience:
07:00 – Pickup from your Cairns City accommodation
07:30 â Board Reef Experience boat at the Cairns Marina ‘A-Finger’ for check-in
08:00 â Approximate departure and Safety Talk with snorkel briefing
08:30 â After the Marine Biology presentation, join the scuba dive briefing for those participating
09:30 â Eventually, we arrive at our first spectacular reef site. Here we will snorkel and dive with thousands of vivid tropical fish, giant clams plus more.
12:30 â Lunch
13:00 â Next we will cruise to our second location to explore forests of coral, large sea fans and black coral trees in its shallow lagoons.
15:00 â Depart the Great Barrier Reef
15:30 â After we depart the reef, it is time to enjoy a glass of wine, tropical fruits, cheese and biscuits
16:30 â Arrive back in Cairns

07:20 – Departure from Cairns, heading north to Cape Tribulation
Morning/Afternoon Stop â Depending on the tides, visit Port Douglas either in the morning or afternoon

Jindalba Boardwalk â Explore the rainforest on a guided walk, surrounded by the lush ecosystem of the Daintree

Important Information
While some components of these tours are weather dependent, the itineraries may be subject to change to accommodate. After all, the weather in Far North Queensland can change quite quickly!
Your Safety Is Our First Priority
Queensland, Australia has some of the strictest scuba diving rules in the world. Not to mention it also has the safest scuba diving record. We are regulated by the Queensland Government Code of Practice and for this reason, comply with all rules including medical as is the law.
In order to avoid disappointment on your day of travel, we strongly recommend that you complete our dive medical questionnaire prior to booking. It is important to realise that some medical conditions, age and/or medications may prevent you from scuba diving. In either case, we want you to be able to make the most of your day.

Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no-decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours. For multiple dives, you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive. If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning you must wait 24 hours after your dive. With this in mind, we recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possible
