The Best of Both Worlds Tour was born out of a unique situation. In June and July 2022, Cape Tribulation accommodation was scarce, making it impossible to offer our usual 2 Day Cape Trib Tour. We searched high and low for alternative options but came up empty-handed.

However, as they say, when one door closes, another opens. We saw this as an opportunity to create something extraordinary for our customers, blending three incredible experiences into one unforgettable journey.

Atherton Tablelands and Waterfalls

Day 1 kicks off with our Fun Falls and Forest Day tour. Prepare to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Atherton Tablelands and Cape Tribulation. Picture yourself swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Josephine Falls, capturing stunning photos at Milla Milla Falls (so nice they named it twice), and taking a dip in the ancient crater lake, Lake Eacham, nestled within the lush rainforest.

Overnight in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands

In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in the charming village of Yungaburra, where you’ll spend the night at our very own “On the Wallaby Eco Lodge.” Your accommodation offers dormitory-style rooms (with an option to upgrade to private rooms) on the picturesque Atherton Tablelands. Enjoy delectable home-cooked meals, and after dinner, we have a special treat for you—Australia’s only night canoe trip on Lake Tinaroo. Get ready to spot incredible wildlife and feel closer to the stars.

Day 2 is all about our Cape Tribulation Day Tour. After a scrumptious breakfast, we’ll head towards the Daintree National Park, with a stop at Granite Gorge Nature Park, where you’ll have the chance to get up close with Australian wildlife.

Rest assured, all your meals are included and freshly prepared with care. During this day, you’ll enjoy a crocodile cruise on the mighty Daintree River, explore the rainforest on guided walks, take a refreshing swim in our private rainforest swimming hole, stroll along picturesque beaches, and wrap up the afternoon in the stunning Port Douglas.
