7:30 AM – Pick-Up from Cairns
Your adventure begins bright and early as we travel along the stunning Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives.
9:00 AM – Wildlife Habitat, Port Douglas
Arrive at the award-winning Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas. Join a guided tour through the Rainforest, Wetlands, Grasslands, and Savannah exhibits to meet native Australian wildlife up close. After the tour, enjoy free time to explore on your own or snap some photos with the animals.
11:30 AM – Daintree River Cruise
Embark on a fascinating Daintree River cruise, where you’ll search for wild crocodiles, tree snakes, and other native creatures in their natural mangrove habitat.
12:30 PM – Daintree River Ferry Crossing
Cross the Daintree River on a cable-driven passenger ferry and journey deeper into the rainforest.
1:00 PM – Alexandra Lookout
Pause at Alexandra Lookout for breathtaking panoramic views of the Daintree Rainforest and the Coral Sea—a perfect photo opportunity.
1:30 PM – Tropical Picnic Lunch
Savor a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the rainforest.
2:30 PM – Guided Rainforest Walk & Cape Tribulation Beach
Take a guided rainforest walk along a scenic boardwalk, learning about the incredible plants and wildlife of this ancient ecosystem. Then, enjoy free time to stroll along Cape Tribulation Beach, where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef.
4:00 PM – Return Ferry Crossing
Cross the Daintree River once again, enjoying the peaceful rainforest views as you make your way back.
6:30 PM – Return to Cairns
Arrive back at your accommodation with unforgettable memories of your day exploring the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.
