Daintree Eco Lodge Rainforest Bayan

Tucked away, amid the oldest living rainforest on the planet, is the Daintree Eco Lodge. Connecting nature coupled with culture in a luxurious pristine setting.

You will find the three Daintree Eco Lodge Rainforest Bayans set closer to the rainforest floor. Certainly the perfect escape for a solitary stay or romantic retreat.

On the private enclosed balcony, take advantage of the deep stone bathtub. So you can soak up the sights, sounds and smells of the jungle in style.

The onsite restaurant offers a modern, seasonal menu. Showcasing the incredible flavours and produce of Far North Queensland. With this in mind, sit back and relax. Meanwhile, look out over the water lily lagoon while you enjoy your meals.

In addition, we can arrange a private degustation dining experience for you. Paired with matching wines. All set in a romantic and secluded rainforest setting.

Discover the Oldest Living Rainforest

Estimated to be 180 million years old. Which is tens of millions of years older than the Amazon Rainforest. You will find crystal clear streams as well as waterfalls and gorges surrounding the Daintree Eco Lodge. In addition to many unique species of flora and fauna.

Importantly, this is the only place in the world where you will find two World heritage-listed locations right next to each other. The Wet Tropics of Queensland coupled with the Great Barrier Reef.

As a result, you will discover spectacular coastal scenery which combines the rainforest with white sandy beaches. As well as beautiful fringing coral reefs just offshore.

Sustainability

Importantly, the Daintree Eco Lodge has a strong philosophy with conservation at the very heart. Therefore, there is a partnership with Rainforest Rescue to plant 2,500 trees in the Daintree Rainforest.

Solar panels have been installed. So, this offsets the use of grid-connected energy. The Daintree Eco Lodge has a rainwater catchment plan. Therefore, it is self-sufficient in water usage.

All Daintree Eco Lodge amenities and toiletries have a form of eco accreditation. In addition, the chef’s source all ingredients locally and sustainably.

In conclusion, $50 from every guest stay is donated to the Northern Escape Reef keepers Fund. With the intention aimed at protecting and preserving the Great Barrier Reef.
